Don`t you feel nostalgic about the lingering scent of incense at Japanese temples? Isn`t that true that the fragrance just like the one lingering at the temples can bring back memories of being inside the building or its atmosphere? While creating the Fugakoh (Refined Incenses) series, we were keeping in mind the idea of reflecting "high-quality fragrances like the ones that can be sensed at temples". Although there are all 3 fragrant woods: Kyara, sandalwood and agarwood blended in, we were seeking to avoid a tight fragrance and trying to make it smoother. What is more, more than creating it in a way to gradually filling out space with fragrance before you realize, it was made to embrace the whole room with the aroma. At our stores, we are classifying the fragrances with many different expressions, and Fugakoh may be described as following. There are various kinds of incense fragrances, but at our store, we divide them into two general categories. The first one is called "Fragrant Woods type" and the second one is "Aromatic type". Fragrant Woods type fragrances may be divided yet into 3 categories. (or even 9) First - fragrance close to a pure aroma of fragrant woods. Giving the examples Kyara Enju series or Shuju incense fall into this category. Second - fragrant woods fragrances arranged in the way to be easily acquainted in modern times. Examples: Kyara Taikan, Kunrin or Oimatsu incenses. And the third one - fragrances of fragrant woods like Fugakoh, arranged in a traditional (classic) way. If you are keeping in mind this classification and you know that Fugakoh is "old-style Fragrant Woods type fragrance" while burning then enjoying the incenses becomes even more interesting, isn`t it? This Kyara Fugakoh (Refined Kyara Incense) is an original item of our Kohgen store. Cloves, patchouli, anise and sandalwood used in traditional (classic) fragrances have been blended in to gently bring out the aroma of Kyara. The Kyara fragrance is not expressed ostentatiously, this incense was made to express the fine quality of this precious fragrant wood once in a while during the burning process. We are curious about your impressions of this incense. Gentle, old-style fragrance. What is more, we have created it to express elegant style as its name indicates. Unique fragrance is the one thing, but we also kept in mind creating a Japanese-style package that allows for calming down just by looking at it. We are a bit anxious about the Customers` feedback on the package but we did our best and put our heart to make it.
